Are there hidden fees when I pay with a foreign card?

No: the amount you see before paying is exactly what you pay.

What you see is what you pay

When you pay from abroad with a card in euros, dollars, or another currency, your amount in FCFA is converted into your currency before you confirm: the amount shown on screen is what will be charged, with no surprises afterward.

Our commitment on Kodo fees

Kodo doesn't add any hidden service fee to the amount shown: you don't pay any extra commission from Kodo on a bill, a top-up, or a Woyofal payment.

About the exchange rate

The amount shown includes the conversion rate applied at the time of payment. As with any foreign-currency transaction, this rate may differ slightly from the pure interbank rate, which is the case for nearly all international payment services. What matters: this rate is shown before you confirm, so there's never a surprise on your statement.
