My bank is asking for 3D Secure validation: what should I do?

Follow the instructions sent by your bank to confirm the payment.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is a security measure set up by your bank, not by Kodo, to confirm that it's really you making the card payment. It can appear as a code received by SMS, a notification in your bank's app, or a security question.

What to do if you're asked for it

  1. Stay on the Kodo payment screen.
  2. Follow the instructions sent by your bank (SMS code, validation in its app...).
  3. Once validated on the bank's side, the payment completes automatically in Kodo.

If you don't receive anything

Some banks don't systematically activate 3D Secure depending on the card's country of issue or the type of transaction. If your payment seems stuck with no validation request, first check that your card allows international online payments, or contact your bank.
