The most common causes
A Woyofal meter rejecting a code is almost never related to a problem on Kodo's side: the generated code is always valid. Here are the most common causes:
1. A previous credit wasn't entered
Woyofal meters must receive codes in the order they were generated. If a previous code was never entered, subsequent codes may be rejected until it is.
2. A data entry mistake
A single wrong digit out of 20 makes the code invalid. Pull up your code again from the Activity tab and re-enter it slowly, digit by digit.
3. A faulty meter keypad
Over time, some Woyofal meter keypads can become less responsive on certain keys, causing repeated entry errors even with a correct code.
What to do
- Check that no previous code is still pending.
- Re-enter your code digit by digit, checking each key.
- If the problem persists, contact Kodo support: we can check the validity of your code and guide you, including toward Senelec if the meter itself appears to be at fault.
Note the exact error message shown by your meter: it helps our team a lot in identifying the precise cause.
